Vanilla Ice Cream with Cream

 

Ingredients:

For 4 people:

4 egg yolks. 150 grams of sugar. 250 milliliters of whole cow’s milk. 1 glass of liquid cream. 1 vanilla bean. 2 tablespoons of vanilla sugar.

Preparation mode:

Place the egg yolks in a bowl, add the sugar and beat with the electric mixer until almost white.

Then pour the milk and cream into a saucepan, add the vanilla bean and cook until boiling.

Immediately remove from the heat, let it rest for a few minutes and remove the vanilla bean.

Slowly pour the milk over the egg and sugar mixture, stirring with a wooden spoon.

Cook the cream in a double boiler over very low heat until it begins to thicken.

Remove the container from the bain-marie and wait until the cream cools, always stirring. Finally, dump the preparation in the ice cream container and put it in the freezer for the necessary time.
